Thermal Substations Vyshenka, Vinnytsia Period: July 2018 – April 2019 Location: Vyshenka, Vinnytsia, Ukraine Task: Procurement of Thermal Substations (TS), SCADA system components and associated services for Vyshenka district in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. Thermal Substations Vyshenka, Vinnytsia Energy security is a major policy issue in Ukraine, and its dependency on external supplies is exacerbated by the low efficiency of energy use. In the city of Vinnytsia the “European Energy Award municipal energy management system” was successfully introduced in order to enhance the living conditions of the population and the energy independence of the country. The optimization of the district heating system operation for thermal substations improves the consumers’ service standard and the energy efficiency. Pre-Insulated Pipes Zhytomyr Period: May 2017 – June 2018 Location: Zhytomyr, Ukraine Task: Supply and installation of pipes for district heating as well as training and supporting services Pre-Insulated Pipes Zhytomyr Energy security is a major policy issue in Ukraine, and its dependency on external supplies is exacerbated by the low efficiency of energy use. The optimization of the district heating system with installation of pre-insulated pipes improves the consumers’ service standard and the energy efficiency and enhances the energy independence of the country. Scope The project included the supply of pipes and all necessary fittings and materials with subsequent installation, inspection, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the below mentioned pipelines. 2’378 m Steel welded pre-insulated pipes for underground laying DN32-DN300 including fittings 8’673 m Steel welded pre-insulated pipes for over-ground laying DN32-DN300 including fittings 357 m SPIRO pipes for on-ground laying DN250 including fittings In addition, the project also included the following supporting services: Training for installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair Supervision of the goods assembly on site and of the commissioning Local insulation with polyurethane foam and end insulation Installation, testing and commissioning of the leakage monitoring system Review and approval of pipe stress calculation Client: Public Utility of the Zhytomyr City Council “ZhytomyrTeploKommunEnergo” Financed By: Consultant: Pöyry Switzerland
